Just in the middle of the forest, we meet a sand quarry - a rock that rises between the trees.
It is composed of calcareous sandstones containing fossilized tubers of lithothamnion algae and ervil shells (ervil - mollusks that lived in the warm Tortonian and Sarmatian seas millions of years ago).
White Rock is a unique scientific object in the middle of the forest. On the slopes of the hill, you can often find snakes and agile lizards. Among the interesting representatives of the flora, you can see mountain onion, forest anemone, sagebrush (regionally rare species), sunrose, and in wetlands at the mountain foot - marsh hornbeam and May orchid (an orchid, listed in the Red Book of Ukraine).
